Reading blog - Reflection - T4 W3

This week for reading we learnt what was a inference, An inference is just a person who amuses you like for example - when people blame you for things that you didn't do like oh hey you made that mess but really someone else did. So Hope you learnt what a inference is and learnt from my reading blog and thanks for reading my work.

One learning experience I learnt this week

One learning experience I learnt this week was writing in moment in time descriptive writing
How I do that is Mr inserts a photo for us to describe then when have to use the 5 senses which are
( Smell, taste, feel, hear, see ) those are the five senses we have to use. So all you have to do is describe what is happening in the picture and imaging you inside there. So Hopefully you learnt something from my blog writing & thank you for reading my blog.

reading Blog - Reflection - Term 4 week 2

Reflection - 
What was something you did in reading this week ?
Something I did in reading really well this week was to explore the authors purpose
of the text. What I had to do was to read an article about something and summaries it. And to (use information from the text to backup my answer).


What do I need to improve on ?
Something I need to improve on in reading is too work and skim and scan faster.


What didn't go so well in Reading ?
Something that didn't go well for me in reading was struggling with some hard words and
not understanding them.

What can I do next time ?
I can sound the hard words out and research what they mean.

One learning experience i learnt This week

One learning experience that I learnt this week is ( Algebra  )
in algebra we learnt about a variable. A variable is something that is used to represents a letter, shape And a symbol that can change.

Example -
15 + t = 20       t= 5
15 + y = 40       y = 25

The number behind the symbol can change such as
2 + h = 7
4 - a  =  2

Angles

Hi my name is Victoria and i learnt about different angles today in maths. I learnt some names and degree 
for them, these are the names for the angles , Acute, obtuse, reflex & right angle.  So an Acute angle is one 
that measures less than 90 degrees, An obtuse angle is one that measures between 90 & 180 degrees,
a reflex angle is one that measures between 180 & 360 degrees. Right angle is one that measures 90 degrees.  

Genius hour

Hi my name is Victoria and this is my genius hour work that we are doing this week, We had to choose a topic and research about it this is the topic I chose  ( Why are people homeless ) I chose that topic because I felt like learning more about homeless people and how they became homeless and why they are homeless. So I hope you enjoyed my work that I have shared.
